The DIPLOMA in CREATIVE WRITING is a two-year programme which explores the discipline of Creative Writing, taking in a variety of genres and major forms of prose, poetry and scripts. Students will learn some of the common principles of strong writing, such as precision, originality and subtlety, as well as begin the refinement of their creative process by learning how to plan, draft, edit, give and receive critique.
Full-time study incorporates intensive reading and writing projects, whilst Part-time study and E-Learning allows students to structure their learning around work and other life circumstances.
- The CWA Academic Year is made up of three terms
- Students must attain a minimum of 20 Credits a term
Courses commence in September each year, with a second start date in January. Students whose circumstances change after successful completion of the first year may exit with a Certificate in Creative Writing.
