Readers will discover some educative material as spin-off from this collection of Thirty-Nine Poems by H L Daniel. For example, I was “surprised by joy” (C.S. Lewis) when I came across a historically accurate account of the origins of the Akans set out in crispy poetry.

I recommend this book for lovers of poetry. I thank the author for giving us another compelling volume which should do well in our ever-expanding library of excellent poems in not only Ghana but the African continent and indeed the entire world.
