When Seyram, a devoted housewife with an enviable talent for making pancakes, loses her husband in a car accident, she and her three young children are hounded out of their home by her husband’s mother and sister.

While coming to terms with living in Takoradi, Seyram is compelled to return to her marital home by an apparition who claims to be her dead husband. For her sanity and peace of mind, Seyram gives in to the relentless demands of the cold and exasperating spirit.
