On January 24th, 2020, the Creative Writing Academy reached a major milestone as we celebrated our very first graduation ceremony. It was a truly historic day for our institution.

Among the honorees were Kimberly Frimpong and Sonia Ibrahim, two dedicated writers who have evolved from passionate students into true masters of the craft. Their journey is a testament to what can be achieved through hard work, mentorship, and unwavering dedication. As they noted during the ceremony: “We have every reason to be proud.”

CWA remains committed to nurturing high-caliber writers for the industry, and we are confident that the Class of 2019 will bring a fresh, much-needed flair to the literary world.
