(1) Students awarded a BA/BSc in any subject.
(2) Students with overall aggregate of 24 or better from their electives and core subjects in WASSCE.
As an Academy which encourages open access, CWA will seek to ensure that those without the qualifications highlighted above, but with an interest and passion for writing and an obvious ability to succeed, will be considered for admission.

Students who reside outside Ghana are eligible to apply provided they hold equivalent qualifications or meet the above requirements.
Applicants from Non-English-speaking countries must meet a minimum level of English Language Proficiency in the following areas: GSCE/O LEVEL, IELTS and TOEFL.
Applicants who fail to meet the minimum level of English Language Proficiency may apply for a six-month intensive English Language Proficiency Training Course.
